Margaret’s Story
Margaret has multiple sclerosis (MS) and is a diabetic. We have been with her for four years and two of our carers visit twice daily since she needs a hoist for movement.
She loves to socialise and goes out with her husband for meals and shopping in her wheelchair. We help Margaret with all her personal needs before settling her for the day with drinks and a newspaper, as she’s a whizz at the crossword!
We are there when her husband is working late and we will call ad-hoc at short notice, before returning each night to help her get ready and into bed.
