Doreen’s Story
Doreen suffered a stroke and also has asthma and arthritis. Our carer visits daily to help her into the shower and with dressing as she is a lot of pain and struggles with some tasks.
We make breakfast, do some light housework and any other jobs that she can’t manage before returning in the evening to help with hot drinks, turning the bed down and helping with the stair lift.
Doreen is managing to get around more using her frame and enjoys going to day care each week.
